Clinical Trial of Sublingual HCG as a Treatment for Obesity

The World Health Organization now describes the prevalence of obesity as an epidemic. The prevalence of overweight and obesity is commonly assessed by using body mass index (BMI). A BMI over 25 is defined as overweight, and a BMI of over 30 as obese and BMIs of 40 or more are morbidly obese. In February 2010 the CDC reported that as of 2006 percent of noninstitutionalized adults age 20 years and over who are overweight or obese: 67% and as of 2015, 75% of American adults and nearly 24 per cent of US children and adolescents will be overweight by 2015.
Current programs like diet and exercise, low carbohydrate diets, liquid protein diets, meal replacement diets etc. have had limited success in curbing the obesity epidemic. If we are truly seeking a solution to obesity, it appears we need to look elsewhere. Traditional weight loss theories and dietary and lifestyle approaches are falling far short of stemming the tide, we are drowning in fat.
Claims have been made that HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) along with a VLCD (very low calorie diet) for 30 days in a medically supervised program can reduce weight by 10-20 lbs per month along with a reduction of abdominal girth, without experiencing hunger. This workshop will demonstrate the method and result of HCG and VLCD protocol showing significant weight loss as well as reduction of abdominal girth.
