Clinical Trial of Sublingual HCG as a Treatment for Obesity
Presented by Dr. Mayer Eisenstein, MD, JD, MPH

The World Health Organization now describes the prevalence of obesity as an epidemic. The prevalence of overweight and obesity is commonly assessed by using body mass index (BMI). A BMI over 25 is defined as overweight, and a BMI of over 30 as obese and BMIs of 40 or more are morbidly obese. In February 2010 the CDC reported that as of 2006 percent of noninstitutionalized adults age 20 years and over who are overweight or obese: 67% and as of 2015, 75% of American adults and nearly 24 per cent of US children and adolescents will be overweight by 2015.
Current programs like diet and exercise, low carbohydrate diets, liquid protein diets, meal replacement diets etc. have had limited success in curbing the obesity epidemic. If we are truly seeking a solution to obesity, it appears we need to look elsewhere. Traditional weight loss theories and dietary and lifestyle approaches are falling far short of stemming the tide, we are drowning in fat.
Claims have been made that HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) along with a VLCD (very low calorie diet) for 30 days in a medically supervised program can reduce weight by 10-20 lbs per month along with a reduction of abdominal girth, without experiencing hunger. This workshop will demonstrate the method and result of HCG and VLCD protocol showing significant weight loss as well as reduction of abdominal girth.

In his 37 years in medicine, he and his practice have cared for over 75,000, children, parents, and grandparents. He is the founder and Medical Director of the Homefirst® Health Services. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. His latest book, Making an Informed Vaccine Decision goes along with his other books: Give Birth at Home With The Home Birth Advantage; Safer Medicine, Don’t Vaccinate Before You Educate, 2nd Edition; Unavoidably Dangerous – Medical Hazards of HRT and Unlocking Nature’s Pharmacy. Some of his many guest appearances include: “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and “Hannity and Colmes”. His weekly syndicated radio show “The Dr. Mayer Eisenstein Show”, airs in the Chicagoland area. One of his goals is to lower the use of pharmaceuticals in the American population.

Presented by Dr. Nathan Francis, MBBS, FACNEM, ABAARM
President of A5M (AustralAsia Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine), Scientific Advisor – WAAAM Asia

Estrogen Dominance is a very common problem in modern society. Consequently, it contributes to many presentations in clinical practice. This talk will focus on the clinical presentations in three clinical settings, namely the pre-menstrual symptoms, obesity, the post-menopausal woman and the aromatization of Estrogens in the male. The copper to zinc imbalance in Estrogen Dominance will be highlighted to explain the mood changes of pre-menstrual tension. Management of each of the thee clinical settings will be discussed, with herbs, minerals, vitamins and pharmaceutical drugs. The challenging management of the peri-menopausal women will be discussed together with the timing of Progesterone supplementation.

THE SWISS CELL THERAPY APPLICATION OF PLACENTA, THYMUS AND MESENCHYME IN AESTHETIC AND ANTI-AGING REGENERATIVE MEDICINE Professor Dr. Richard De Andrea Medical Consultant MF3 of Switzerland, SWITZERLAND

Learning Objectives:

Introduction to Swiss Cell Therapy – the most significant development of modern complementary, regenerative and integrative medicine.

An insight into the science of Thymus Therapy, Placental Therapy, Mesenchymal Therapy.

The safe application and indications of Thymus Therapy, Placental Therapy and Mesenchymal Therapy in aesthetic and anti-ageing regenerative medicine.

Abstract: It is imperative to greatly understand the true potential and value of Swiss Cell Therapy today. Cellular Therapy was first discovered in Switzerland in 1931 by eminent Swiss physician, Professor Dr. Paul Niehans. It has since been practiced, along with many new and proven complementary modalities, by countless other physicians primarily in Europe. This lecture will specifically focus on the regenerative powers of modern Cell Therapies, in particular Swiss Cell Therapies of Thymus, Placenta and Mesenchyme.

Thymus Therapy The thymus gland works as the central system of the body’s immune systemand it is situated behind the top part of the breastbones. It secretes three important types of cells: the helper cells, the natural killer (NK) cells and the T-suppressor cells; that are needed to destroy foreign invaders of the body. At birth, the thymus gland is very well developed; it is the biggest and single most important component of our lymphatic system at that time as the other components such as spleen and lymph nodes are just starting to develop. The thymus gland will continue to grow and develop between the time of birth and puberty. However, for reasons yet known, as a person ages, his thymus gland will start to shrink and gradually convert into connective tissue. As a result, the person’s immune system begins to weaken.

Thymus Therapy is essential in the treatment of disorders or diseases that are directly or indirectly linked to the immune system. With more than 1500 studies done on the therapeutic effects of Thymus Therapy, the use of thymus cells & peptides can help boost and regulate the immune system by improving interaction between the defense cells, activating defense cells within the body, stimulating new formation of lymphocytes in the bone marrow, helping to normalize T-cells and improving the healing of tropic ulcerations, post surgical wounds and burns.

Placental Therapy The use of placenta to improve human vitality dates back thousands of years. Deemed as life-giving and rich in vital essence, placenta is considered to be a very powerful medicine for centuries. Evidences of its existence have been written in ancient medicinal books around the world. It is, however, through modern science that scientists were able to prove, on a cellular level, the potency of Cellular Therapy time and again for the past 80 years.

Scientific research has indeed shown that placenta contains large amounts of growth factors, hormones, cytokines, antibodies and etc. All these point to the potential benefits for repair and regeneration processes in cells, tissues and organs. Clinical experience has demonstrated that treatment with placental tissue or extracts thereof can improve circulation, inhibit inflammation, enhance autonomous nervous system regulation, increase rate of wound healing and boost the immune system. Placenta is also widely used in Aesthetics as it improves skin complexion.

Mesenchymal Therapy Arose largely from the mesoderm of embryo during the early phases of mammalian gestation, mesenchyme is the mass of tissue to which most of the mammalian body’s organs and tissues are fundamentally developed from. It has the capacity to form different cell types, such as adipocytes, chondrocytes, osteocytes, hepatocytes, cardiomyocytes and neurons. Mesenchymal Therapy is widely used in Switzerland and Germany as a regenerative cell therapy to enhance the self-regulation of the inter-cellular space, brain-ageing, chronic fatigue, exhaustion from stress etc. It is most remarkably known that mesenchymal cells can instinctively migrate to the area of greatest injury in the body, become identical to the damaged cells, and then start to replicate. The mesenchyme’s abilities to differentiate and identify damaged cells can therefore effectuate potent regeneration and healing, and present numerous solutions and opportunities for anti-ageing therapies and also clinical applications.

Indications for Swiss Cellular Therapy: Anti-ageing (General Revitalisation, Rejuvenation and Youth Restoration), Adrenal Disease, Age-related Conditions, Arthritic Condition, Auditory Dysfunction, Auto Immune Condition, Blood Disorder, Diabetes Mellitus, Cardiovascular Disease, Circulatory Problems, Immune System Dysfunction, Kidney Disease, Liver Disease etc.

In 1992, scientists at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine identified sulforaphane as a naturally occurring compound in broccoli that possesses antioxidant activity and appeared to be responsible for the epidemiological findings that diets rich in cruciferous vegetables were correlated with lower levels of cancer. These scientists subsequently determined that the compound present in the broccoli plant was the glucosinolate precursor of sulforaphane – known as glucoraphanin or SGS.

In 1997, this research group demonstrated that SGS content of mature broccoli was highly variable. Further, there is no way for consumers to detect this variability and know whether they are getting high-concentration broccoli or not. Thus a system was created to grow, develop and harvest broccoli specifically for the extraction and use of SGS for health related conditions.

Since 1992, SGS has been extensively studied at Johns Hopkins and other prestigious medical institutions around the globe. More than 400 studies have been published which support the possible health benefits of SGS.

SGS works as a potent catalyst to boost Phase 2 enzymes in the body. These detoxification enzymes trigger ongoing antioxidant action for at least 72 hours. As a result, the indirect antioxidant activity of SGS lasts significantly longer than that of direct antioxidants such as vitamins C, E and beta carotene. Furthermore, 3-day-old sprouts have a much higher concentration of SGS than the average mature broccoli (73 mg v. 11 mg per serving, respectively), which means that one ounce of broccoli sprouts contains as much SGS as over 1-1/4 pounds (20 ounces) of market-stage broccoli.

The body of scientific knowledge concerning SGS and broccoli sprouts continues to grow at a rapid rate; key studies with respect to SGS are summarized below.

A4M-World.Asia Workshop Day 3: Sunday, 23 Oct’11 at 13:00-17:00 PRACTICAL ORAL hCG TREATMENT for WEIGHT LOSS

Dr. Daniel Oscar Belluscio The hCG Research Center, Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA

The Oral hCG Research Center is a foundational member of the International Society for Alternative Uses of human Choriogonadotropin (ISAUC)

For many years the hCG program for weight loss enjoyed worldwide popularity due to the excellent obtained results . Daily administration of 125 IU of hCG plus a Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) Diet rapidly decreased body weight without any side effects. Hundreds of thousands of patients benefited from this safe and effective weight reduction program.

Obesity has now reached worldwide proportions, and society faces a problem that will cause more suffering, disease and death than any other plague over the last three hundred years. The hCG method may well be a safe and effective alternative for treating those millions of individuals suffering obesity.

hCG is one of the few drugs of natural origin that, fortunately, still remain in the current Pharmacopoeia. For unknown reasons, most of the research performed on its therapeutic potential deals with investigations related to testicles or ovaries, with comparatively few investigations performed in other clinical fields.

Secreted by the placenta, the presence of hCG in the urine of pregnant women was first reported by Ascheim and Zondek in 1927. Since then, thousands of articles have been published about the effect of hCG on gonads (testicles or ovaries), but comparatively a small number of these have investigated its vast therapeutic potential on diseases ranging from Kaposi sarcoma,to asthma, psychoses, artheriopaties, thalassemia, osteopenia, glaucoma, cancer. hCG proved to be effective in the above-mentioned conditions, but insufficient data were gathered to conclusively determine its clinical utility.

To complicate the situation even more, the use of hCG in the treatment of obesity has been the subject of controversy. The results of a series of studies were interpreted to mean that hCG should not be used for the treatment of obesity, notwithstanding reports from many patients who had been treated with the hCG protocol referred they were completely satisfied with the method and the obtained results (See Opinions).

The objective of The International Society for Alternative Uses of human Choriogonadotropin (ISAUC) is to create a climate of favorable opinion aimed at bringing hCG back into the scientific consideration of Researchers and the public.
